We all love festivals and being surrounded by crowds, but the post-pandemic world will be characterised by less crowded, more exclusive events that can provide life-changing experiences.
Surely the bigger events will recover from this slump in the next few years and we’ll be back to queuing for long lines to see our favourite artists in concert, but for now, it’s the turn of the smaller ones.
Here at Raz SurfCamp, by the sea, naturally distanced from the big cities and with the ocean as our neighbour, this summer the camps will be more exclusive as we have reduced the number of total places each week, in order to create a perfect bubble without having to change our main experience.

When essence is greater than size
Taking advantage of our geographical location, this summer we will be ready and waiting to see you again. We can’t wait to get back in the water with you, spend the morning surfing and here are five reasons why coming to Raz SurfCamp this summer is better than a festival with 50,000 people:
Events can be run safely
Social distancing in a crowd of 50,000 people is quite difficult even when the event is outdoors. This is not a problem for us, as we have already organised all covid-safe camps successfully throughout the summer of 2020.
Local tourism
This crisis gave us the opportunity to rebuild tourism in a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient way. Priorities will no longer focus exclusively on the destination, but also on the company with which the holiday will be enjoyed, and here, the atmosphere is unbeatable.
International tunes, local bands
At Raz SurfCamp we love live music and we are lucky enough to work with some of the most talented artists in the province. In addition to our DJ’s who will set the mood for every evening with the best music.
Balance is the key
Sometimes it’s hard to have a relaxing time at a multi-day festival, but here that’s not a problem. At Raz SurfCamp we balance adventure and fun with a healthy drop of relaxation. If you feel like relaxing in yoga classes, finishing that book on your bedside table or taking a nap after a long day of surfing instead of playing beach volleyball, we won’t judge!
You’ll leave with 49 new friends.
Something that is not possible at a 2-3 day festival with tens of thousands of people is getting to know EVERYONE you travel with. Our camps last a week, so at the end of the seven days, between all the activities we organise and the socialising, you will get to know our team and your fellow surfers very well.
Summer is just around the corner, places are flying and soon will be sold out, don’t let your friends tell you about it and live the Raz SurfCamp experience, a summer camp away from the big cities.
