Why Galicia is the best destination for your holidays?

Galicia is magic, nature and summer in its purest form. There are many reasons why anyone would want to enjoy a summer break “na terriña”, starting with the weather. Contrary to what many believe, it doesn’t always rain in Galicia. It is true that it rains many months of the year, but our summer is the envy of any place in Spain: hot during the day, cool at night. And not terribly hot or uncomfortable; just enough to enjoy days at the beach, excursions and, of course, lots of surfing.

Thanks to these winter rains, our landscapes are overwhelmingly green. All the greenery you can imagine can be found in our forests. Breathing fresh air is necessary from time to time… and here we have all the air in the world. Take a breath of fresh air and enjoy the unknown and the wildest nature, as well as our beaches. Did you know that Galicia is the autonomous community with the most kilometres of coastline? There are beaches to suit all tastes: beaches where you can forget your name, beaches where the summer atmosphere takes you straight to the beach party and, above all, beaches where you can surf incredible waves on most summer days. Catching waves for three months? In Galicia it is possible.

WHY GALICIA IS THE BEST DESTINATION FOR YOUR HOLIDAYS?

But it doesn’t stop there. In addition to the gastronomy, which we have already told you a lot about (long live the seafood and the heavy!), Galicia holds countless cultural secrets that you would love to discover. Our history is fascinating and full of legends and meigas. Between wave and wave you can discover all these stories in magical places full of mystery such as, for example, Finisterre.
