We start the post with a question Raz SurfCampers… do you follow us on Instagram? If not, you’re already late to follow us! Come on, go, go, we’ll be waiting for you here to keep telling you about it.
For those of you who did follow us before, you will know that we have been playing a lot of questions and answers… a bit for fun, a bit to solve all the possible doubts you may have for the next season (which is coming, it’s coming!). As we have seen that there are many simple doubts but common to many new campers, we want to solve them here so that the campers of the future have everything as clear as the water of Razo! So, here they go:
What is the best age to come to Raz SurfCamp?
From 12 years old, all ages are welcome at Raz. Normally in the camps you will always find people of all ages and surfing levels, but we can give you a guideline in case it helps you to choose a camp: at Easter there are mostly university students (although also many Raz SurfCampers between 15 and 17); in September the majority are adults (+18); June and July are the most popular camps for the younger Raz SurfCampers.
What about the food?
We can see from your questions on Instagram that you are one of us, so the food is something we need to be clear about! Each camp includes full board, i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of them are delicious meals and perfect to recharge your batteries. We also have vegetarian and vegan options and we take allergens into account. So don’t let being well fed make you resist the Razo’s olitas 😉 Yum!
Can you come to a surf camp alone?
You can, and we invite you to do it! There are many people who decide to spend a week full of power in Raz and, what they surely didn’t suspect before coming, is that at the end of the camp they get a family for life: the camp buddies don’t stay in the camp! So don’t be afraid to start this adventure on your own, it’s going to be brutal!
How is the accommodation?
Well, it’s amazing: Razo beach is at our feet, it’s a privileged place and, believe us, you’ll never want to leave 🙂 The rooms are shared, from 3 to 6 people. And we have a dining room, table tennis, terrace (with the best sunsets ever) and a small garden where we do many activities like yoga.
Well cracks! It’s getting late and we’re getting more involved than in person 😛 We’re going for a swim and we’ll be back soon with some other questions that we left out. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to write to us by email or through our social networks!
